“Trash-the-Dress”…. huh??
First thing: despite what this shoot is called, this photo shoot is about creation, not destruction….
… it’s about giving a second-life to your dress, one more time.
… it’s about having fun with your husband, ,without the stress of the wedding day.
… it’s about embracing the original and forgetting the traditional.
Trash-the-dress are also often called “Wedding After-shoot”, or “Flaunt the Dress”.
The point of this shoot is to get beautiful images of brides having fun in their dress, and not necessarily focusing on destroying their dresses. You can simply run on the beach, barefoot, or you can litterally swim with your dress on: the choice is yours, but either way, you can get beautiful images that are truly original.
The shoot usually takes place a couple of weeks after your wedding, and we go to a location where, because of time constraints or weather, we could not go on your wedding day.
The shoot includes a 2-hour session with a photographer, all the retouched images in high resolution on a USB key and an enlargement of your favorite one. If you are interested by one of these shoots but can’t bare to see your dress get dirty, we can also rent you one for the shoot for an extra 50$ (and we take care of the cleaning aftewards
